Today I gave blood in honor of Ronie Simmons. Thanks to his brother Tony Simmons for setting this up in our church parking lot. Due to my extreme fear of needles, I’ve never donated blood until now, but I’m glad I did. Had I know they give you Apple juice and cookies, I may have done it sooner!
