faith that Can Move Mountains
“And Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, “Be taken up and cast into the sea,” it will happen. And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive'” (Matthew 21:21–22). Our faith has the ability to transform the landscape of humanity. We can influence culture in our communities and nations through putting the gospel message into practice. If we see any sort of injustice in the world, God has equipped us with the power and authority to challenge it through the good news. This faith, when coupled with love, can cast the heaviest of mountains into the sea. No longer do we need to remain in the shadows because with God on our side we are more than conquerors. Identify mountains in your life, and ask God for assistance in casting them into the sea.

I always thought that the mountain and fig tree represented Jerusalem/old covenant Israel, and that it was the enemy of Gods new covenant kingdom / economy, and that they persecuted the saints. If they had faith Gods kingdom would overcome
and that system that opposed it would be cast into the sea.
